USED GUITAR OVATION
Which guitar is better, ovation or alvarez?
I am looking to purchase a new guitar. which is better,an new ovation for $300 without a case, or a used alvarez with a case for $350?
It really depends on the model, and who’s selling it… generally though, if it’s somebody who know’s what their talking about and it’s properly priced used generally goes for 1/2- 2/3 of new selling price. I’d check and get the model number of the guitar you’re trying to buy, and Google it and find out home much it was new!
That being said, I have always liked the sound of Alvarez acoustics much better than ovations. ovations sound good plugged in, but not great at all acoustically . Hope this helps!
