Acoustic Guitar Clip-On Tuner w/Flat Button? Which is Best for Tuning 1/2 Step Down?
Hi,
I have an acoustic-electric with a built-in tuner… but it doesn’t have a Flat Button so I can’t easily tune down a Half Step.
I mean, I can tune down 1/2 step by ear, but it takes me much longer.. and then I need to switch back to Standard a lot.. so it’s just a pain.. going back and forth.
Anyone know a GOOD clip on Tuner with a Flat button, so I can easily tune down 1/2 step?

heres what you do. since your tuner doesnt have a flat button it tunes only to the note that it is hearing. unlike a normal tuner it isnt meant to be tuned to a certain pitch e.g. concert pitch. for example a tuner with a flat button will read E if that is the note you are trying to get from the low e string, but if its way off e and its say, d, then it wont read anything at all. but want you want to do is tune your strings down until, for example, that same e string starts registering as a D# on the tuner. therefore you can tune down as far as you want.
