I’m having a problem tuning my guitar…?

I’m a begginner, and today i tuned my guitar for the 4th time i think, but the notes don’t sound right at all… l think there’s a problem with my guitar tuner, what should i do? online tuning didn’t help… For example, the low E string sounds almost exactly like the A string… And my tunner was quite expensive…Grrr….Any ideas?

hmm.. begging to learn guitar is hard..

whatever you do dont play it untuned, youll develop an ear for the wrong kind of tuning..

also if this is your first couple of times tuning, your strings should be great, as long as your positive theyre new when you got the guitar, if you dont think they are id change them, but that really shouldnt be the problem
if it was an expensive tuner, it probably can tune to all the different kinds of tunings, for instance there is standard and dropped tuning, MAKE SURE it is set on standard tuneing eadgbe or it will definately not sound right.

ps. areyou teaching your self? if you are, dont get discouraged it is one of the best and worst ways to learn because you learn things on your own, though it might not be “proper” ahem as teachers my say. lol
