What kind of music can a sigma dm-2 martin play?
I just bought this guitar off ebay and I want to play jazz/blues/ and acoustic type music like gabe bondoc/passion. Is the sigma dm-2 suited to that kind? Another guitar was out but I didn’t buy it which I regret but it was the Ibanez Artwood AW-500. I payed $235 for the dm-2… was that a bad price? (some scratches/top is a bit nicked off)
You can play any kind of music you want on any guitar you like. There are no “rules”. If it sounds good to you, it IS good.
Having said that, Martin is one of the premier brand names in acoustic guitars and Sigma is their less expensive, but still good, line of instruments. Acoustic jazz/blues, or any other acoustic music you want to play, will sound fine on this guitar, I’m sure.
Without seeing or hearing the guitar its hard to say what its worth but it sounds like you paid a fair price for it.
