GUITAR PLAYERS NAILS
Guitar players with years of experience I have a question ?
I have been playing for 4 years now, I never went to school I just tought my self and today I can play it all. The thing is I am left handed and I learned to play a right handed guitar. Finger picking is no problem at all and picking with a nail at a decent speed. But when I try to strike one note six or eight times repeatedly in like
a second and then the next note and the next, I cant hold the tempo.. and cant help but wondering what if I had my left hand
doing this.
Electric is my favourite and you can find me standing somewhere between The White Stripes and Queens of the stone age. But I want to play like that guy in Pantera..
Does it really matter which hand you learn with, because the brain
is neautral at the beginning. It’s equally retarded both sides, or is it ?
If it does matter, will it even out or affect you in the long rong ?
Can I still reach the speed that I want, playing with my right hand ?
Will it take more practice, more pain, more time ?
I’ve been guitar for a while now as well to keep the tempo you should just buy metronome coz I had and that solved it real quick, so its not coz u play right hand and ur left handed I play right hand guitar and left hand bass but i am right handed, it shouldnt take any longer my cousin is left handed he plays right,think about jimi hendrix the best guitar player of all time played left hand even though he was right handed, so you should be fine just buy a metronome it should help.
