GUITAR PEDAL BUFFER
Will using pedals effect my guitar/amp clean tone?

I play Punk mainly, but I also play alternative, so I like to use a Tube Amp and use the distortion from that and just use a channel switcher to switch between channels (I’ll be getting either a Mesa Boogie or a Marshall soon :D ). Anyways, will using effects such as wah wah, digitech wammy, or a flanger effect the clean sound of my guitar, because according to websites the bypass is buffered? Just curious if it is real noticibal.

Thank you.
Thanks to Dave S for the quick answer, but will a true bypass strip work for Wah Wah, and a whammy pedal? I didn’t really understand how the bypass strip worked that well :S.

Also as I said before I like to use the distortion from the amp, so if the bypass is buffered it will also effect my distortion I assume?

Thanks for the help.

I suggest getting these pedals and trying them first…
if you feel you are getting tone loss from the buffered pedals you can always get a true bypass strip and use that.
