The Song Remains the Same, Solos?
I am a self taught guitarist and begining to be able to solo advance stuff such as “since I’ve been loving you” “rock and roll” and a couple of Zakk Wylde’s early stuff, I’ve learned all of this off of tabs. I am starting to grasp scales and modes theory now.
I am looking for a little guidance in Jimmy Pages Soloing, Especially off of his live jams from: The Song Remains the Same, and How the West was won.
Does anyone Know the scales and modes Page uses when soloing live?
Is there any sheet music/tab devoted to his live music? solos, tricks, runs, etc…….that actually explains what he is doing and using in his music.
Is this a good question for Yahoo? or is there a guitar answers website i could possibly ask this on?

Well, if your looking for tabs, you could try guitarmasta.net. Sooooo many tabs, lol. I don’t know about it live though… I got a link to the Song Remains the Same, a bit down and there’s the solo.
If you’re willing to spend $100, there’s a book @ Barnes&Nobles (2nd link). It has guitar tabs all form Led Zeppelin I to V, but I’m not sure if they explain it in there. Hope I somehow helped, lol.
