GUITAR MAKING VIDEO
How do you have good sound quality when making a video?
When you make a video of yourself playing guitar or drums, how do you make it sound clean and clear, instead of just recording the sound of you playing out of your amp in your room? Some videos i see, the instrument sounds really fuzzy like you can hear the echo of the room, but how can i record directly into my computer keeping the distortion effects and stuff there?
I’ll assume you have a mixer of some sort. Get a cable to go from the Line Out jack on the mixer to the Line In jack on the sound card on the back of your computer. Do NOT connect the Speaker Out directly to your computer.
If you’re not using a mixer, I imagine your amp still has a Line Out jack. If it doesn’t, time to buy a mixer. They’re not expensive. Behringer makes decent ones. Don’t go overboard at this stage; the 802 is a good one.
