Bass Guitar help?

I just got a bass guitar. But the problem is I don’t know anything about bass guitar…I don’t know how to tune them, which strings are which, finger positions, etc. I’m completely new at the whole thing and I want to learn to play but I cant find any good free websites that don’t include downloading something. So I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for websites or whatnot.
Also I can’t get a teacher to help me in person so…yeah…I’m reduced to online learning…
