I’m trying to tune my guitar?
I have a electric/digital tuner: an “Intelli Metro Tuner-IMT204″.
I’m trying to tune my guitar with it. There is a “chroma” (chromatic) setting and a guitar setting. I tuned my guitar using the chromatic setting, and it doesn’t sound quite right. When I try tuning it with the guitar setting, it says:
3G when I pluck the E string
2B when I pluck the A string
6E when I pluck the D string
2B when I pluck the G string
4D when I pluck the B string
3G when I pluck the E string
What does it mean when it says “3G, 2B” and that kind of stuff? In this setting, what should I be tuning my strings to? Should I tune my E string to 3G?
