CUSTOM BASS GUITAR STRAPS
Custom inlays on guitars?
Hi, I was just wondering if its possible to create an inlay on an guitar, but instead of an inlay, use paint with a glaze on top to create the same effect. Im thinking of buying a Warwick Bass,
Corvette $$ and the inlays do look appealing, but for £700 a dragon and £250 odd for a tiger im a little strapped for cash. Cheap affective solution anyone?
The paint – even with a glaze on top of it – will begin to wear off almost immediately under the strings. That’s going to look terrible in short order. If you want an inlaid neck, save up and buy a guitar that has one already.
