BASS GUITAR VIDEO REVIEWS

ARE BC RICH BASSES RELIABLE?
I was watching a video of ICS Vortex (former Bass Guitarist of Dimmu Borgir) warming up in studio, playing some riff on his bass. Looking at the headstock, I saw that its a BC Rich he was using, not sure if it was a Warbeast or A Warlock but it was a 5 string
Right now I’m in two minds about pursuing them, so I was wondering if anyone here can give me a brief but comprehensive review of the two guitars, and where would I be able to find a place to buy one? (After trying it, of course)
Thanks guys

I just realised how awful that question is layed out lol. I’m basically looking for a Bass that will cater for metal in a way that my Warwick Corvette can’t. I’m basically concerned with the pickups, the action, the feel of the neck and the versatility I will (hopefully) be able to experience. I’m looking for a 5string, so if anyone knows where they’re sold I’d appreciate that.
Haha, much better
Price range would probably be around 400 Pounds to 500
rnr is right. BC’s used to be good, but ther quality has suffered since Hanser bought them. Those 5-string Warlocks are made out of Nato wood, which is cheap. The only thing that makes them worth a darn is that they are neck-thru, but thats not enough to make me want to spend $700 on one. All in all, not a good choice. At that price range, the Schecters, and Ibanez’ are better values for the dollar. But heck, you can get an American-made Fender Highway One P-Bass for fifty bucks more anyway. Dont ever buy an instrument because you like the shape or color… thats a sure way to get fcuked.
