whats the difference between p and j style pickups on the bass?
on the electric bass guitar, whats the difference between precision pickups and jazz pickups? which would you recommend?
Not a lot! The main difference is the neck. Although the Jazz pickups tend to have a mellower sound. Usually, any difference can be obviated by using the EQ of your amp. Precision is usually the choice for Rock and Pop.
