BASS GUITAR OUTLINE
What methodology do you use to write hard rock lyrics to drum bass and guitar?

How can I make it syncopated and clear? Do I need to sit down and write an outline first? Do I keep it at the same rhythm through the whole song and then change it when I perform. for example

why don’t you wait for me under the ground
soon we’ll be laughing with worms in our frowns

and heres chorus
the day that you slipped
i felt that I missed
the touch of your lips
the swing of your hips
i woke up a-hating my dead little

are both different.

I am a lyricist and I think if I get a productive ritual for writing down then I can move some minds. Please only answers from successful confident songwriters. I have my degree.

Lyrics are a form of poetry, & the musician will interpret your lyrics to his music, the way it makes him feel. If you are not writing the music don’t worry about it. If you are writing the music the song will evolve from maybe a slow acoustic to a loud electric & fully arranged. For some people it is instinct for others it is work.
