Need help finding a BASS GUITAR?

I’m looking for a bass guitar to replace my epiphone short scale.

You’re right on the money to want a Fender Jazz bass. The J-Bass is very easy to play on and has a nice smooth thin neck. I would suggest going on Craigslist in the musical instruments section and simply type in Fender Bass. A ton of entries will pop up and you will find a ton of good instruments to choose from at great prices. I would say that since you’re buying your 2nd bass, consider increasing your budget as you can then get a bass you’ll keep for longer and thus spend less money over time. (Consider a Japanese or American made J-Bass). I still have my one and only bass I purchased in 2001 because I bought what I wanted from the start. Good luck!
