BASS GUITAR FRETS NOTES
What is the frequency of a C played on the 1st fret of a five string bass guitar?
I am trying to find the frequency of a hum in our house. I just happen to have a five-string bass guitar and have found the note. It is closest to a C.
The electrical hum is approximately 60 Hz – C is 64. Fluorescent lights make most musicians crazy – the note generated is neither B nor C.
