BASS GUITAR CHORD BOOKS
What is a good way to learn the basics of guitar?

Is there any absolute good way to learn to play the basics of the guitar? You know, scales, chords, and that sort of thing. I don’t know anybody close enough to get lessons from and I’m not sure where to by a DVD or book or anything. Is there any good websites, maybe?

Please tell me all the ideas you can think of…and, thanks for answers to my other question. I think I’ll start on an acoustic guitar, then move to electric, then to bass if I can.

Oh, and, try to give me any efficeint and cheap ways…I’m kinda low on cash as it is…

I’m learning acoustic right now..I went to a music store and got the easiest books for kids just learning to play guitar..it’s really simple..but very clear on how to play chords..
Lots of colourful pictures..
