ACTIVE BASS GUITAR PICKUPS
Can you switch out bass pickups?
If you have a bass guitar and you want to put in some active pickups, will they fit fine? Can any bass pickup fit in? I have an ibanez so its not some obscure brand or anything.
Most pickups are standard sizes, so I’m sure you won’t have any trouble finding an active pickup that will fit into the existing cavity. There are different sizes (humbucker, jazz, P-bass, etc.), but all of the major manufacturers offer lots options in each category.
